Smart generation mode
Working out what to cook, and learning from your past ratings…
Add by photo
Take one photo of a shelf or a few items. It proposes a list, nothing is saved until you confirm each line, quantities and expiry dates are its best guess, not a reading.
Add by barcode
Scan a packaged item's barcode (or type it in) and it looks the product up on Open Food Facts, a public product database. Name, size, ingredients, allergens and nutrition come from that database, not from AI guesses. You confirm before anything saves.

Shopping lists
Saved for the whole household — they survive reloads and both of you see the same lists. Kook vir Jou can compare supported retailer products and hand a selected list to Pepesto. Retailer login, substitutions, delivery slots and final payment remain under your control.
